01Business context

BTD Panther is client work: a QR-based customer interaction and venue-management platform. It connects something physical — a QR code at a venue — to an experience on the customer's phone, and gives venue operators a clear view of activity and performance.

It covers customer QR journeys, manual operational workflows, venue management, scan activity, visual analytics and reporting.

It was delivered for live operations across 83 outlets.

Mobile experience design, operational workflow design, analytics interface development, implementation, testing and delivery — including production troubleshooting and deployment.

03Customer QR experience

Two QR experiences run side by side. Menu QR opens an interactive Panther experience at the table. Selfie QR invites guests to take a branded photo, then collect it by sharing their name, phone number and email — with explicit consent.

04Analytics

Both experiences report into one campaign console: total scans, unique devices, week-on-week change and active outlets, with a breakdown for each QR system. Each system also has its own view with daily trends, device platforms and the best-performing outlet.

05Key decisions

  1. 01

Keep the customer side simple; give operators the detail.

The person scanning a code should have a straightforward interaction. The detail about activity and performance belongs on the operator's side, in analytics and reporting.

06Implementation

I built and delivered the platform, including the analytics interface, and supported it in production — testing, troubleshooting and deployment.
